David Colledge

David Colledge, President, Colledge Transportation Consulting Inc., has 24 years experience in multi-modal freight and passenger transportation. He is the President of Colledge Transportation Consulting Inc. (CTC), a strategic planning, policy analysis and socio-economic research firm located in Surrey, British Columbia. CTC, now in it’s sixth year of operation, has completed some of the leading work on gateways and corridors in western Canada including: the B.C. Ports Strategy; B.C. Ports Competitive Profile; Pacific Gateway Strategy Action Plan (infrastructure investments required to meet cargo demand growth to 2020); The Port of the Future—A Supply Chain Strategy for the Vancouver Port Authority; Canadian Wheat Board Supply Chain Strategy; and the Western Canada Transportation Infrastructure Strategy for the Western Transportation Ministers Council.

David is the former Vice President of the Western Transportation Advisory Council (WESTAC) and has been involved in more than 150 consulting assignments for the private sector, federal/provincial government transportation policy and safety reviews and Royal Commissions. While with WESTAC he authored several major publications to raise the profile and awareness of transportation in Canada. Recently, he has worked with several different clients advocating the need for coordinated capacity expansion across Canada’s logistics system to support Asia Pacific and international trade, improve productivity and enhance the country’s competitive position.
