Yimin Zhang

Yimin Zhang is currently a Professor at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), on leave from Department of Economics and Finance, City University of Hong Kong. Dr. Zhang obtained his PhD from University of British Columbia in 1989. After two years post-doctoral research at the University of British Columbia, he taught at Faculty of Business, University of New Brunswick in Canada from 1991 to 1997, first as an assistant Professor and later became associate Professor. He moved to Hong Kong in 1997 and taught at Department of Economics and Finance, City University of Hong Kong before joining CEIBS in 2004.

Dr. Zhang’s research interests are in the areas of industrial economics especially in the transportation sector. He has published nearly 40 research papers in various academic journals. He is currently a member of the Scientific Committee of the World Conference on Transportation Research Society, and is serving on the Editorial Board for Journal of Transport Economics and Policy.
